The SG of the GCC expresses his regret and his astonishment at the resolution of the European Parliament on Morocco
Jeddah – The Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, has expressed his regret and astonishment at the European Parliament’s resolution which contains unfounded observations and criticisms regarding the Kingdom’s policy of Morocco in matters of illegal immigration.
Mr. Al-Hajraf expressed, in a statement released on Saturday, his rejection of this resolution which ignores the efforts made by Morocco in the fight against illegal immigration to Europe.
The CCG reiterated its solidarity and full support for all the steps taken by the Kingdom of Morocco in this matter.
The General Secretariat of the GCC welcomed the decision of HM King Mohammed VI to facilitate the return of all unaccompanied Moroccan minors in an irregular situation in certain countries of the European Union.
