European Parliament resolution on Morocco has no objective basis (Yemeni House of Representatives)
Aden – The House of Representatives of the Republic of Yemen expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom after the European Parliament’s resolution concerning Morocco, stressing that this text “does not rest on any objective basis and does not take into account the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco and its constructive policy in dealing with the issue of illegal immigration “.
In a statement posted on its website, Yemen’s House of Representatives stressed that “the European Parliament’s resolution concerning Morocco and the accusations it has leveled against the Kingdom and holding it responsible for the migration crisis between Morocco and Spain “constitute” flagrant interference in Moroccan internal affairs “.
The Yemeni House of Representatives stressed the “non-conformity” of the text voted by the European Parliament, saying that this resolution, which offers no solution to tackle the roots and causes of the dispute, “worsened “the crisis between Rabat and Madrid.
On the other hand, the House of Representatives expressed its support for all the measures taken by Morocco, which has shown wisdom and responsible determination in the fight against terrorism, illegal immigration and trafficking in human beings, while respecting the principles and requirements of its partnership with the European Union and with its regional environment, noting that the Kingdom has effectively contributed to countering these phenomena in recent years.
