Rabat – The Governing Council, meeting on Thursday, adopted Bill 38.21 establishing the composition of the General Inspectorate of Judicial Affairs, its prerogatives and regulations, as well as the rights and obligations of its members.

This project intervenes in application of the provisions of paragraph 1 of article 53 of the organic law n ° 100.13 relating to the Superior Council of the Judicial Power (CSPJ), about the creation of a General Inspectorate of Judicial Affairs which is affiliated to it. , indicates a press release published at the end of the Council meeting.

Developed in agreement with the CSPJ and the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, this text meets the expectations of the reform of the judicial system with a view to strengthening the credibility and confidence in justice, the independence and moralization of the judiciary, the values probity and transparency, the correlation between responsibility and accountability and governance within judicial institutions.

It is the realization of the royal will to rehabilitate and modernize the judicial administration, to improve its governance and its efficiency, to promote the values ​​and principles of responsibility and accountability and to strengthen the confidence of the citizen. in the justice system.
