Sidi Kacem: ONEE improves drinking water supply
Rabat – The National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) on Monday launched work to improve the rural drinking water supply service through individual connections in 24 douars in the province of Sidi Kacem.
These projects, carried out in partnership between ONEE, the Ministry of the Interior and the World Bank, cost 19 million dirhams, ONEE said in a statement on Tuesday.
On this occasion, the Governor of the province of Sidi Kacem, accompanied by the Regional Director of ONEE, the presidents of the municipalities, elected officials and local authorities, launched the works in 24 douars belonging to the municipalities of Dar Aslouji, Sefsaf and Sidi El Kamel.
These projects, which will benefit 15,800 inhabitants, will be added to the achievements of ONEE in the drinking water sector in the province of Sidi Kacem and will contribute to improving the living conditions of the population and to social development. -economic region, according to the press release.
