The Casablanca Stock Exchange starts down

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on Monday, down, its main index, the Masi, dropping 0.40% to 12,326.66 points.

A few minutes after the opening, the MSI20, which reflects the price performance of the 20 most liquid companies, lost 0.46% to 1,008.67 points and the Madex, a compact index made up of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, lost 0.41 % at 10,026.15 points.

The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10”, for its part, stood at 924.36 points, down 0.57%.

At values, SMI recorded the strongest drop in the morning (-3.27%), followed by CTM (2.98%) and LafargeHolcim Maroc (2.79%).

Counter-trend, Alliances climbed 3.99%, ahead of Res Dar Saada 3.58% and Mutandis SCA 3.11%.

Regarding the most active stocks, Mutandis SCA drained 10.23 million dirhams (MDH), Douja Prom Addoha 2.73 MDH and Alliances 1.31 MDH.
