It’s a business that rolls between Edinson Cavani and Manchester United. After much negotiation, the Uruguayan international agreed to extend to Old Tafford for another year.
Edinson Cavani has been keeping Manchester United happy since joining England after a divisive departure from Paris Saint-Germain. Approached by Boca Juniors, the 34-year-old striker seems to want to continue playing in the Premier League.
“Manchester United are delighted to announce that Edinson Cavani will remain at the club next season. The Uruguayan striker signed a one-year contract extension, binding him to the Red Devils until June 2022 “, wrote the Red Devils in a statement.
For his part, Edinson Cavani said he believed Manchester United could “Do special things” after signing his one-year contract extension.

The Uruguayan, 34, scored his 15th goal for United since arriving on a free transfer last summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side secured a Champions League spot next season in beating Aston Villa on Sunday.
Cavani, who also found the net four times in two games in United’s Europa League semi-final victory over Roma, had been in negotiations to extend his stay at Old Trafford for some time after initially signing a one year contract.
“During the season, I developed a great affection for the club and all that it represents”, Cavani said. “I feel a deep connection with my teammates and the staff who work behind the scenes here. They give me extra motivation every day and I know that together we can achieve special things ”, he added.
