Arab Ministers of the AEs salute the role of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by HM the King, in protecting the holy city
Cairo – Arab foreign ministers on Tuesday praised the role of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by HM King Mohammed VI, in protecting the holy city.
A resolution, made public at the end of an emergency meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of ministers of the EAs, hailed the role of the Al-Quds Committee in the protection of the holy city and in support of the resistance of the Palestinian people, emphasizing the importance of the efforts made by the Bayt Mal Al Quds Acharif Agency to this end.
By virtue of this resolution, the general secretariat of the League of Arab States was tasked with coordinating action with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to protect the city of Al-Quds against systematic aggression and policies of Israel.
Morocco was represented at this meeting, which was held by videoconference, at the request of Palestine, by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, and Ahmed Tazi, Ambassador of Morocco in Egypt and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the League of Arab States.
