They also called on the ICC to make this issue a priority and to mobilize all the material and human resources necessary to carry out this investigation, stressing in this urgently held resolution that the Arab side is determined to take all measures. necessary at all levels, including intense diplomatic actions, to protect the city of Al Quds and defend its sacredness, both Muslim and Christian, as well as to support the political, social, economic and human rights of the people of the city holy.

Morocco condemns hate speech, warns against continuing violence

Morocco has, in this same context, reiterated its categorical rejection of all violations and unilateral measures affecting the legal status of Al-Quds Acharif and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people to realize their aspirations for freedom and independence. .

In his speech on the occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, condemned the hate speech of certain extremist Israeli religious organizations, stressing that the Kingdom “ shares with his brothers in the Arab countries the feelings of deep concern at the violent events unfolding in the holy city of Al Quds, in particular in the district of Sheikh Jarrah, which faces systematic plans to evict its inhabitants amid escalating Israeli attacks on the Maqessis, and raids, arrests and intimidation of peaceful worshipers during the blessed month of Ramadan“.

Bourita also warned against the continuation of these practices, which he said would only increase the factors of escalation and tension, as well as the prevalence of hate speech, which would only decrease the chances of peace in the country. region and plunge the Palestinian cause and the holy city of Al-Quds into religious and ideological conflict.

The Head of Moroccan diplomacy did not fail to point out that this difficult situation is due to the impasse that has affected the peace process for years, affirming the need to relaunch the peace process, according to clear determinants , the foundations of international legitimacy, Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative in order to preserve the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and relaunch a constructive dynamic for peace, which is the key to overcoming this situation.

Morocco places the Palestinian question and the holy city of Al-Quds at the forefront of its concerns, he recalled, reaffirming Morocco’s firm and clear position, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Committee. -Qods, regarding the support and defense of the Palestinian cause, and its adherence to a peaceful settlement in accordance with the two-state solution agreed at the international level with the 1967 borders and Al-Quds-East as the capital of the Palestinian state .

Arab groups mobilized internationally

Thus, Tuesday’s meeting urged League of Arab States missions and Arab ambassadorial groups to initiate an intense diplomatic effort to convey the content of the adopted resolution to the capitals of influential countries around the world.

The Arab group within the United Nations in New York was also tasked with initiating consultations and measures with the President of the Security Council and that of the General Assembly, including the option of holding the 10th special session of emergency relating to illegal Israeli actions in the occupied eastern city of Al Quds and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territory.

In addition, the Arab group in Geneva and Paris was entrusted with the mission of initiating the consultations and the measures required within the Human Rights Council and Unesco to put an end to the violations and to the policies. systematic Israeli women in the occupied city of Al Quds.

It should be noted that the Arab committee, which was formed by the Arab foreign ministers, will include the presidency of the Arab summit, the Arab country member of the Security Council and the secretary general of the Arab League. He will be responsible for submitting a report on his activities to the Council of the League during an extraordinary session to be held for this purpose.
