Inter Milan continue to send a clear message to Achraf Hakimi’s suitors. According to the Italian press, the Moroccan international is part of the list of the “five untouchables” of the Nerazzurri.
Achraf Hakimi chose to join Inter Milan last summer, with whom he is now Italian champion, but this did not seem to cool the many cadors who pursue him including Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Arsenal.
In this sense, Inter will do everything in their power to keep the Atlas Lion and four other equally desired players in several European clubs.
According to the print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri consider Achraf Hakimi, Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez, and Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni as “untouchables” during this summer transfer window.
The Serie A giant’s hopes of keeping the five players are seen as “ambitious” given the financial crisis facing the team which recently asked its players to skip two months’ salary.
Hakimi has enjoyed an exceptional season in Italy, seeing his Transfermarkt value rise to € 50million. Renowned for his speed and athleticism, the Moroccan has scored seven goals and contributed seven assists in 33 Serie A games this season, playing 78% of Inter’s minutes and directly contributing 18% of their goals.
The former Real Madrid is the team’s third top scorer behind Lukaku and Lautaro, and the second best assist behind the Belgian.
