Casablanca Stock Exchange: Opening up

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on Thursday, up, its main index, the Masi, gaining 0.26% to 11,985.28 points.

The MSI20, which reflects the price performance of the 20 most liquid companies, rose 0.31% to 978.73 points and the Madex, a compact index made up of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, rose 0.27% to 9,748.15 points.

Regarding international indices, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 was almost stable at 11,031.13 points, while the FTSE Morocco All-Liquid, which stood at 10,222.34 points, increased by 0.15%. The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10” stood at 910.59 points, up 0.19%.

On the value front, Sonasid (+ 2.91%) achieved the best individual performance as did CTM (+ 2.86%), while Mutandis SCA was satisfied with an increase of 1.8%. On the losing side, Involys was down 3.63%, followed by Lydec (-1.99%) and Stroc Industrie (-1.77%).
