Soufiane Rahimi will he join Badr Banoun in Egypt? The Moroccan international is of great interest to Al Ahly, where his compatriot and former teammate of Raja de Casablanca is playing.
After impressing in the African Nations Championship (CHAN), won by Morocco, Soufiane Rahimi continues to arouse envy.
According to the Egyptian press, the 24-year-old striker is in the sights of Al Ahly who seeks to compensate for the expected departure of Mahmoud Kahraba at the end of the season.
The administration of the Egyptian giant has made Rahimi its priority and has already surveyed his former teammate, Badr Banoun on the technical qualities of the player for a future transfer.
Soufiane Rahimi had already attracted the favors of a group of Gulf and Egyptian clubs, after his epic in CHAN but the native of Casablanca seems to be loyal to his heart club, Raja de Casablanca, with whom he extended his contract in February for a period of 5 years.
That being said, that won’t stop the young talent from trying his luck in another championship, as he recently explained.
“My contract with Raja is still short, I think, one day, to live an experience outside Morocco, ideally in a big European club”, launched Rajaoui, during a recent interview with 2M.
