The regions of Guelmim Oued-Noun, Daraâ-Tafilalet and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab do not have any new cases of the coronavirus, this Monday, May 3.
Morocco now has 511,912 confirmed cases, 498; 624 cures, 9,032 deaths, and 4,256 active cases, including 302 in serious condition (20 under intubation and 156 under non-invasive ventilation), also reports the monitoring and watch platform of Hespress, covid.hespress.com/en.
The most affected region is that of Casablanca-Settat which has 21 new cases including 17 in Casablanca, 2 in Nouaceur, 1 in Mohammadia and 1 in El Jadida.
The second most affected region is that of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra which records 11 new contaminations including 8 in Laâyoune and 3 in Boujdour.
Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra is followed by that of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which lists 8 new cases distributed as follows: 3 in Skhirate, 2 in Rabat, 2 in Sale and 1 in Khemisset.
The fourth region most affected by new cases is Souss-Massa with 5 new infections concentrated in Agadir. For its part, the Oriental notes 4 new contaminations including 3 in Guercif and 1 in Driouch.
Three new cases were observed in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima in Tétouan (2) and M’diq-Fnideq (1), one more than Marrakech-Safi (1 in Marrakech and 1 in Al Haouz).
The regions of Beni Mellal-Khénifra and Fès-Meknes have a new case each respectively in Khouribga and El Hajeb.
