Creativity among young talents will be in the spotlight on the occasion of the 19th edition of the national educational film festival, scheduled for April 08 and 09 in digital format, around the theme “educational film, a vision aesthetics of image education ”.
For this edition, and at the initiative of the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Fez-Meknes (AREF-FM), a leading jury will officiate this competition. It will be chaired by the Moroccan director and screenwriter, Abdelilah Jouahri, and composed of the Syrian critic Lama Attayara, the Tunisian director and critic Achraf Laamar, the Moroccan poet Abdessalam lmoussaoui and the actor Azzelarabe Al kaghat.
This edition will be enhanced by a conference on the central theme of the festival, in which the critics Farid Boujida, Lahbib Nassiri, Idriss Eddahbi and Ahmed Sijlmassi will participate.
The selected films will compete for the Grand Prize of the festival, as well as those for the best screenplay, direction, male and female interpretation.
According to AREF-FM, this annual meeting aims to develop creativity among young talents and raise awareness of the importance of opening educational establishments to their socio-economic and cultural environment, of the relationship between education and cinema and the role of educational films in the training of rising generations.
