Under the chairmanship of the head of government, Saâd Eddine El Othmani, the Council will first look at the bill on the legal use of cannabis, the statement said. Then, it will examine three draft decrees. The first concerns the extension of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory in order to fight against the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
The second relates to the application of certain provisions of the first annex to the Dahir forming the maritime trade code relating to sea fishing vessels. The third relates to the application of the law relating to the protection of persons participating in biomedical research.
The Council will also study the cooperation agreement in the field of tourism, concluded on October 22, 2020 in Rabat between the Moroccan and Central African governments, adds the press release announcing that the Council will close its work by examining the proposals for appointment to high office, in accordance with the provisions of article 92 of the Constitution.
