Morocco has registered 393 new cases carrying the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases identified at the national level since the start of the epidemic to 484,159.
Currently, the total of active cases increases to 5,646, of which 380 are in serious condition. In terms of national incidence, the rate rises to 1331.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Over the last 24 hours, the incidence is 1.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the number of people vaccinated has reached 3,657,468.
The region having recorded the most cases carrying the virus in the last 24 hours is the region of Casablanca-Settat with 247 cases recorded in total including 209 only in the city of Casablanca, while 22 cases have been identified in Mohammedia, 14 in Berrechid and in Nouaceur, 6 in El Jadida, 5 in Settat, 3 in Benslimane and 1 in Sidi Bennour.
The second region to have recorded the most cases on Tuesday, the Oriental which identified a total of 34 positive people for covid-19 including 13 in Oujda-Angad, 9 in Nador, 7 in Berkane, 3 in Driouch and 2 in Taourirt.
Close results for the regions of Marrakech-Safi and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which recorded 18 and 16 cases respectively, distributed as follows: 13 in Marrakech, 3 in Safi and 2 in Rhamna for Marrakech-Safi, and 6 cases in Skhirat- Témara, 5 in Rabat, 4 in salé and 1 in Khemisset for Rabat-Salé-Kénitra.
The results are still similar for the following two regions: Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (7 cases in Tangier, 4 in Al Hoceima and Larache) and Beni-Mellal Khénifra (all the cases identified in Beni Mellal) which recorded 15 and 14 new ones infections.
For its part, the Drâa-Tafilalet region recorded 3 cases in Zagora, 2 cases in Errachidia and 1 case in Tinghir, for a total of 6 cases. Same daily report for Dakhla-Oued Eddahab where all the identified cases are located in Oued Eddahab.
Finally, the Souss-Massa region recorded 4 new cases carrying the coronavirus distributed as follows: 2 in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 1 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and in Taroudant.
One less case for the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region which has identified all its positive cases in Laâyoune. Two cases were identified in the region of Fès-Meknes precisely in the city of Meknes and only 1 case for the region of Guelmim-Oued Noun, recorded in Tan Tan.
