Morocco has registered 416 new cases carrying the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases identified at the national level since the start of the epidemic to 4,483,410.
Currently, the total of active cases increases to 5,988, among them, 433 cases are in serious condition. In terms of national incidence, the rate rises to 1,329.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Over the last 24 hours, the incidence is 1.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the number of people vaccinated has reached 3,435,997.
As for the geographical distribution of the new cases identified in Morocco in the last 24 hours, it is the region of Casablanca-Settat which comes first with 251 new infections including 205 identified in Casablanca, 17 in Mohammedia, 8 in El Jadida, 6 in Berrechid, 4 in Settat and Médiouna, 3 in Benslimane, 2 in Sidi Bennour and Nouaceur.
Second most affected region this Saturday, the northern region, Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima which completes 46 new cases including 24 in Tangier-Assilah, 12 in Al Hoceima, 6 in Tétouan, 3 in M’diq-Fnideq and 1 in Chefchaouen.
For its part, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra is the third region in the ranking with 28 cases in total including 13 cases identified in Salé, 7 in Skhirat-Témara, 5 in Rabat and 3 in Kénitra.
Similar results for the regions of Oriental and Marrakech-Safi which respectively record 23 and 20 cases distributed as follows: 15 in Oujda-Angad, 4 in Nador and 4 in Berkane for the Oriental and 9 in Marrakech, 5 in Safi , 3 in Essaouira, 1 in Youssoufia, Rehamna and Kelâa des Sraghna for Marrakech-Safi.
In addition, the region of Drâa-Tafilalet has a daily assessment of 11 infections including 7 in Errachidia, 2 cases in Tinghir, 1 in Ouarzazate and Zagora.
One less case for the results of the region of Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra (8 in Laâyoune, 1 in Tarfaya and Boujdour) as well as the region of Souss-Massa (8 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and 2 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul).
Finally, the region of Beni Mellal-Khénifra, recorded 8 cases including 4 in Beni Mellal, 2 in Khouribga and Fqih Bensaleh, and that of Fès-Meknes, 7 cases in total distributed between 4 cases in Fès, 2 in Meknes and 1 in Sefrou, and 3 cases for the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, all in Oued Eddahab.
