In the “General Category”, Morocco won the first prize in Africa, ahead of South Africa and Egypt, we can read on the official page of the Prize. At the world level in the same category, New Zealand won the first prize. Singapore and South Korea hold second and third place respectively.
In the “Tourism Promotion” category, Morocco comes second in Africa after Kenya. The third place is occupied by Egypt. Morocco shares first place (first tied) with South Africa in the “Doing Business” category in Africa, followed by Kenya and Senegal.
These three categories determine the fundamentals for building a Country Brand, in particular the ability to attract foreign investment, promote exports, and create a tourist brand in this difficult context of the Covid-19 health crisis.
