Infantino welcomes King Mohammed VI’s commitment to the development of national football

The President of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, on a working visit to the Kingdom, praised “the enthusiasm and commitment of King Mohammed VI for the development of Moroccan football”.

And to add: “Without the commitment of King Mohammed VI and the serious work carried out by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation as well as the commitment of the Moroccan government, we would not have been able to observe the infrastructures available to Morocco in the different cities “.

Gianni Infantino, in this sense, mentioned the Mohammed VI Football Complex, noting that this center, one of the best in the world, is a real “work of art” and its construction demonstrates the seriousness of Morocco and Moroccans in development of football, also indicates a statement published on the FRMF website.

This complex, he said, is made available to FIFA, the African Football Confederation and federations around the world for the benefit of the supervision of young people and referees among others.

Note that during his visit to Morocco, the FIFA President was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Othman El Ferdaous and the president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaa.
