The National Airports Office (ONDA), reported a 34.02% drop in the number of passengers registered at Nador-Al Aroui airport during the month of January 2021, compared to the same time of year 2020.
Passengers who passed through this airport in January 2021 numbered 36,784, against 55,749 in January 2020, with a share estimated at 5.76%, specifies the Office.
According to these same data, this result places Nador airport in 7th place nationally and first regionally ahead of Oujda-Angad airport and Bouarfa airport.
Passengers who passed through this airport in 2020 numbered 276,157, against 773,059 in 2019, a decrease of 64.28%.
The city of Nador is served from several airports including Brussels and Charleroi (Belgium), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Paris, Marseille and Montpellier (France), Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca and Girona (Spain), Frankfurt, Cologne and Dusseldorf (Germany).
The Kingdom’s airports recorded in January 2021 a decrease of around 68.39% compared to the same period of the year 2020, welcoming 638,806 passengers against 2,020,647 passengers welcomed in January 2020.
