The Head of Government, Saad Dine El Otmani, received, on Friday in Rabat, the President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), Ahmed Reda Chami, who gave him the summaries and recommendations of the Council made within the framework of ” a self-request, under the theme “Health and safety in the field of work”.
On this occasion, Saad Dine El Otmani welcomed this initiative which concretizes the principle of necessary and continuous cooperation between the government and the various constitutional institutions, in particular the EESC which plays important roles in the various structuring and decisive projects for the future. from the country. The Head of Government also emphasized the government’s concern to pay particular attention to the reports issued by constitutional institutions and to ensure, as much as possible, that their content is taken into account in the context of public policies.
In an opinion formulated in a participatory framework as part of its 2020 action plan, the EESC identifies the strengths and weaknesses in the field of health and safety at work at the level of the public and private sectors.
It also delivers several recommendations aimed at promoting the national system in this area and at dealing with accidents at work and occupational diseases within the framework of an approach encompassing aspects relating to governance, legislation, awareness, etc. training and scientific research.
The conclusions of the opinions and the recommendations of the Council will help the government sectors concerned to formulate and develop national policy in the field of health and safety at work.
