Hespress’s watch and monitoring platform, covid.hespress.com/fr, details that Morocco now has 466,289 confirmed cases, 8,150 deaths (i.e. a mortality rate of 1.75%), 442,441 healings, 4,822,622 cases excluded after negative laboratory tests (an increase of 9,082), and 15,698 cases under treatment, including 767 in serious condition (66 under intubation).
The Casablanca-Settat region remains the most affected by the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, it has recorded 138 new cases, including 96 in Casablanca, 17 in Nouaceur, 11 in El Jadida, 11 in Mohammadia, 2 in Médiouna and 1 in Berrechid.
The second region most affected by new cases is that of Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima which has 89 new cases in Tétouan (30), Al Hoceima (24), Mdiq Fnideq (16), Tanger-Assilah (10), Chefchaouen (6) and Larache (3).
Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima is followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 88 new contaminations including 27 in Sale, 18 in Kénitra, 16 in Skhirate-Témara, 12 in Sidi Kacem, 9 in Rabat, 5 in Sidi Slimane and 1 in Khémissat .
The 4th most affected region is Marrakech-Safi, which takes stock of 56 new contaminations distributed as follows: 33 in Marrakech, 8 in Essaouira, 8 in El Kelaâ Sraghna, 3 in Safi, 2 in Chichaoua and 2 in Rehmana.
For its part, the Oriental region has recorded 49 new cases including 22 in Oujda-Angad, 10 in Nador, 10 in Berkane, 3 in Taourirt, and 3 in Jerada, while that of Souss-Massa has 47 in Agadir. (30), Inezgane (12), Taroudant (3) and Tiznit (2).
At the same time, Fès-Meknes takes stock of 16 new contaminations including 7 in Fès, 6 in Taza, 3 in Meknes while that of Darâa-Tafilalet observes 9 new cases (4 in Tinghir, 3 in Midelt and 2 in Ouarzazate).
5 new cases have been identified in the Beni-Mellal Khénifra region including 3 in Beni Mellal and 2 in Khenifra as well as Guelmim-Oued Noun (3 in Beni Mellal and 2 in Khénifra).
The last region to register new cases is that of Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab with 3 in Oued Ed-Dahab.
