Agadir: A French arrested for sexual assault on minor children

The judicial police of Agadir arrested, on Monday, a 51-year-old Frenchman, suspected of having committed sexual assault on minor children and who was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued against him by the judicial authorities French.

The pointing operation of this foreign national, carried out in the database of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), revealed that he was wanted at the international level and was the subject of a Red Notice issued by the French judicial authorities, and this for his alleged involvement in the exposure of two minor children of his relatives to sexual assault in Valenciennes, France, said the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) in a press release.

The suspect was taken into custody in accordance with the extradition procedure, while the competent French authorities were notified of this arrest in order to expedite the transfer of the extradition file, the same source specifies. This arrest falls within the framework of international cooperation relations in the security fields, as well as within the framework of the efforts made by the Moroccan security services to track down people wanted at the international level for cross-border crimes, concludes the DGSN.
