Rabat – The elements of the prefectural service of the judicial police of Agadir thwarted, Saturday on the basis of precise information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), an illegal emigration operation and arrested 4 individuals for their alleged involvement in the organization of illegal emigration and human trafficking.

A press release from the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) indicates that the suspects were arrested at the fishing port of Agadir, in the act of attempting to illegally migrate 20 candidates aboard a fishing vessel.

The investigation revealed that the candidates arrested are of different nationalities, in particular Moroccans and 09 of Egyptian and Yemeni nationalities, specifies the DGSN, noting that the search made it possible to seize 6 life jackets, cell phones, as well as sums. money in national currency and currency.
