Three arrests in Agadir for organizing illegal emigration

Three individuals, including a repeat offender, were arrested Friday by elements of the prefectural service of the judicial police of Agadir for suspicion of links with a criminal network active in the organization of illegal emigration and human trafficking.

a press release from the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), indicates that the suspects were apprehended during a security operation carried out at “Hay Salam” in Agadir, in the act of preparing for an illegal emigration operation via the sea ​​lanes.

The defendants, aged between 24 and 32, were arrested in a house located in the same neighborhood, where they housed six candidates, specifies the DGSN, which notes that the searches carried out in the context of this case made it possible to seize two life jackets.

The suspects were placed in police custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecution, to elucidate all the ins and outs of this case, and identify all the ramifications and possible links of this criminal network.
