The Casablanca Stock Exchange rose slightly on Thursday in the first exchanges, its Masi index taking 0.1% to 11,273.79 points.
The Morocco Stock Index 20 (MSI20), made up of the 20 most liquid companies, rose 0.12% to 920.99 points and the Madex, a compact index made up of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, rose 0.11% to 9,181, 6 points.
Regarding international indices, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 index gained 0.25% to 10,279.5 points and the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid gained 0.04% to 9,712.77 points.
The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10”, meanwhile, rose 0.2% to 857 points.
In terms of values, Managem (+ 2.5%) posted the best performance of the morning followed by Cartier Saada (+ 1.8%), Involys (+ 1.7%) and Jet Contractors (+ 1.34%).
On the downside, Société des Boissons du Maroc was down 1.88% at the start of this session which also saw BMCI (-1.09%), Eqdom (-0.68%) and Snep (-0.29 %) lose ground.
On Wednesday, Masi and MSI20 finished lower, dropping 0.31% and 0.43% respectively.
