Nasser Bourita talks to his Swedish counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, spoke on Tuesday by videoconference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Ann Linde.

A press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicates in this regard that the two officials, on this occasion, praised the excellent relations between the two countries, while stressing the interest of intensifying political dialogue and strengthening cooperation. bilateral, particularly in the economic field and renewable energies.

Regarding the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, the two ministers reiterated the need for all parties to respect the ceasefire and to remain fully engaged in the political process under the aegis of the United Nations.

During this meeting, the statement continued, the two ministers pledged to strengthen coordination for stabilization and development in Africa, particularly in the Sahel region.

They also stressed the need to deepen cooperation between the two countries at the multilateral level and within international bodies, in several areas, in particular those of migration, interfaith dialogue, sustainable development and climate change.
