Mr Bourita talks to his Swedish counterpart
Rabat – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, spoke on Tuesday by video conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Ms. Ann Linde.
Welcoming the excellent relations between the two countries, the two ministers insisted on the interest of intensifying political dialogue and strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic field and renewable energies, said a statement from the Ministry of Affairs. foreigners, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad.
On the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, the two ministers reiterated the need for all parties to respect the ceasefire and to remain fully engaged in the political process under the aegis of the United Nations.
During this meeting, which also focused on regional and international issues of common interest, the two ministers pledged to strengthen coordination for stabilization and development in Africa, particularly in the Sahel region, the statement added. .
Finally, the two ministers underlined the need to deepen cooperation between the two countries at the multilateral level and within international bodies, in several areas, in particular those of migration, interreligious dialogue, sustainable development and climate change.
