The national team of local players will try at the next African Nations Championship (CHAN), to defend its title won in the previous edition. Many of them are on the list of the national coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, but others too will be able to enter (or perhaps leave).
To this end, the coach of the Atlas Lions has appointed his deputy, Mustapha Hadji, for a mission to observe local players during this continental competition.
At the end of his mission, specifies an informed source, Hadji will have to present detailed reports on the performance of the Botolists, with a focus on five of them, namely Abdelkrim Baaddi (RSB), Yahya Jabrane (WAC), Hicham El Mejhad (IRT), in addition to the rajaouis Soufiane Rahimi and Abdelilah Hafidi.
As a reminder, the 2021 edition of CHAN should open on the 17th of the current in Cameroon, and will engage in four groups:
Group A: Cameroon, Mali, Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe
Group B: Libya, DRC, Congo, Niger
Group C: Morocco, Rwanda, Uganda, Togo
Group D: Zambia, Guinea, Namibia, Tanzania.
