The AREF of Marrakech-Safi and the French Institute of Marrakech have signed a new agreement, as part of the educational cooperation conducted at the national level by the Ministry of National Education and the French Embassy in Morocco.
A signing ceremony for a new agreement between the two institutions took place on Friday, January 8, 2020 at the French Institute in Marrakech.
This agreement was signed by the Director of the AREF Ahmed El Karimi and the Director of the Marrakech Institute Christophe Chaillot in the presence of the Consul General of France in Marrakech, Philippe Casenave.
This agreement indicates that the two parties are working, within the framework of a common strategy for improving the level of the French language in all educational cycles and the training of teachers, trainers and inspectors in non-linguistic areas, public preschool, digital education, preparatory classes, public reading and media libraries, literacy, non-formal education and second chance schools as well as scientific and technical culture.
In addition, various cultural events such as reading competitions, meetings with authors or artists, scientific festivals or even visits to the digital museum of the French Institute are offered to all educational players in the region.
