New measures in Taounate to fight Covid19
Taounate – The provincial authorities of Taounate have announced the adoption, as of Friday, November 20 and for a renewable period of fifteen days, of new measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
On the basis of the daily monitoring of the epidemiological situation at the level of the province, marked by a constant increase in the number of contaminations, particularly in Taounate, and on the recommendations of the provincial watch committee, it was decided, for a renewable period of fifteen days. , the implementation of a series of exceptional measures to stop the spread of Covid19 at the level of all the municipalities, indicates a press release from the province of Taounate.
These measures concern the closure of shops, cafes, restaurants as well as craft and professional activities at 8 p.m., the closure of public spaces, parks and gardens and the ban on the broadcasting of football matches in cafes in the city of Taounate.
The press release also mentions the strengthening of control with regard to compliance with the wearing of masks and social distancing, with the repression of all violators of preventive health measures, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
Provincial authorities, which report the continuation of awareness campaigns to encourage citizens to respect preventive measures to stem the spread of Covid19, warn that more stringent measures could be taken depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation at the level of the province.
