Gabon: The Transport Trades Training Center will be named after King Mohammed VI

The Vocational Training and Education Center for Transport and Logistics, which should be set up soon in Gabon, will be named after King Mohammed VI.

The decree establishing and organizing this structure was adopted at the last Council of Ministers, held on November 20, 2020, under the chairmanship of the Head of State, Ali Bongo Ondimba.

The text was presented by the Minister of Employment, Public Service, Labor and Vocational Training, the Council, alongside 3 other similar projects, for the creation and organization of four Training Centers and Professional Education with two training cycles for each.

These are the Mohammed VI Training and Vocational Education Center in Transport and Logistics, the Multisectoral Vocational Training and Education Center of Nkok, the Vocational Training and Education Center in Technology jobs. of Information and Communication and of the Vocational Training and Education Center for Wood, Building and Public Works.

These structures, specifies the final communiqué of the Council of Ministers, are decentralized services placed under the coordination and control of the National Agency for Vocational Training and Education. They are responsible for providing initial and continuing training in various trades.
