MCasablanca remains the city most affected by the coronavirus. In terms of geographical representation, it is always the region of Casablanca-Settat which appears as the epicenter of the disease.
The region registers in 24 hours 1559 new ones including 1152 in Casablanca, 131 in Nouaceur, 82 in Mohammadia, 56 in Berrechid, 45 in El Jadida, 33 in Settat, 31 in Benslimane, 23 in Médiouna and 6 in Sidi Bennour.
The second region most affected by new cases is the Oriental which lists 384 cases as follows: 193 in Oujda-Angad, 81 in Nador, 52 in Guercif, 25 in Berkane, 16 in Taourirt, 10 in Jerada and 7 in Driouch.
The Oriental region is followed by that of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra which records 326 new contaminations including 108 in Skhirate-Témara, 76 in Kénitra, 58 in Salé, 45 in Khémissat, 16 in Sidi Slimane, 12 in Rabat and 11 in Sidi Kacem.
The 4th most affected region is that of Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima with 202 new cases including 76 in Tanger-Assilah, 71 in Tétouan, 23 in M’diq Fnideq, 9 in Larache, 15 in Al Hoceima and 8 in Ouazzane.
175 new contaminations were observed in Marrakech-Safi including 133 in Marrakech, 15 in Essaouira, 14 in Kelaâ Sraghna, 8 in Youssoufia and 5 in Rehmana.
The Souss-Massa region recorded 148 new cases distributed as follows: Agadir (70), Inezgane (59), Chtouka-Ait Baha (7), Tiznit (8), Taroudant (3) and Tata (1).
For its part, the region of Beni Mellal-Khénifra has a record of 140 new contaminations including 49 in Khouribga, 39 in Béni-Mellal, 29 in Azilal, 13 in Fquih Ben Salah and 10 in Khénifra, while that of Darâa-Tafilalet there are 80 of which 32 in Errachidia, 26 in Tinghir, 12 in Midelt, 8 in Ouarzazate and 2 in Zagora.
The region of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra has 95 new cases (90 in Lâayoune, 4 in Es-Semara and 1 in Boujdour).
The region of Fès-Meknes draws up an assessment of 62 new cases, including 19 in Fès, 11 in Boulemane, 12 in Meknes, 10 in Sefrou, 7 in Taza, 2 in El Hajeb and 1 in Taounate.
The last region to register new cases is that of Dakhla-Oued Eddaha, all concentrated in Oued Ed-Dahab (46).
