Sudan: Postponement of the trial of Omar El-Bashir until the 22nd

The Khartoum Court once again decided on Tuesday to postpone to the 22nd the trial of former Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir and 27 other people accused of having seized power in a coup in 1989. .

“The next hearing will be next Tuesday, September 22,” said the president of the court, adding that the current hearing was only “procedural”, while waiting to find a place better suited to health measures against the new coronavirus .
