Unwanted in Southampton, Sofiane Boufal is on the shelves of several clubs in Europe. The latest to date, Olympiakos and Real Bétis who keep an eye on the Moroccan international.
Sofiane Boufal appears to be set to leave Southampton after being left off the scoresheet last weekend. In addition, his coach, Ralph Hasenhüttl admitted that it is possible that the Lion of the Atlas will pack up in the coming weeks.
According to the Turkish press, Olympiakos, club in which the Moroccan international Youssef El Arabi plays, would be ready to put on the table more than 4 million euros to secure the services of the former OGC Nice.
On the other hand, it is in Spain that the 27-year-old could rebound, with growing interest from Real de Betis who want to sign him on loan.
With Boufal’s salary estimated at around € 70,000 per week, Southampton will be keen to accept almost any concrete offer on the table.
Boufal joined Southampton from Lille in 2016 for a fee of around 18 million euros. The attacking midfielder has made 70 appearances for the club since joining, although he spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Celta Vigo in Spain.
Last season Boufal made 20 Premier League appearances for Hassenhutl’s side, scoring once and providing two assists.
