Morocco, “fundamental actor” of peace in Libya (Chilean news site)
Santiago – The Chilean news site “ElSiete.cl” welcomed, Monday, the success of the inter-Libyan dialogue, held from September 6 to 10 in Bouznika, at the initiative of Morocco, stressing that the Kingdom is a ” fundamental actor of peace in Libya “.
Last week in Bouznika, Morocco hosted inter-Libyan dialogue sessions between delegations from the High Council of State and the Tobruk Parliament, with a view to maintaining the ceasefire and opening negotiations to end the conflicts between the Libyan protagonists, the site said.
“The bases of an agreement have been laid for a lasting peace in Libya,” wrote “ElSiete.cl” in an article entitled “Morocco, fundamental actor of peace in Libya”.
For the Chilean media, the meetings took place in “an atmosphere of friendship and fraternity marked by understanding and consensus”, with a positive vision of what is happening in Libya, in search of an agreement that ends the danger of war which threatens the country, its territorial integrity and the sovereignty of the State.
At the end of these dialogue sessions, the two parties announced a comprehensive agreement on the criteria and transparent and objective mechanisms for occupying positions of sovereignty, he said.
